Occasionally, Green Strategy collaborates with other consultancies and independent consultants for different projects and tasks. For example, a sub-consultant can be contracted to perform special tasks as part of a larger consultancy project owned by Green Strategy, based on the consultant’s niche competence and expertise. Below are some examples of independent consultants that we have had the pleasure to work with more recently.
Weronika Rehnby works as independent sustainability consultant in the textile and environmental field (with advice, education and seminars), and with a half-time position as textile and environmental expert for TEKO, the Swedish Textile and Clothing Industries’ Association.
Weronika has 20 years of experience in product development and production in the Swedish textile industry. As a young textile engineer, she started working with dyeing and wet processing at Borås Wäfveri. Thereafter followed services as responsible for the finishing department and as production manager at Almedahls in Alingsås. For many years, she has been teaching dyeing, printing and finishing at the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, as well as been responsible for its textile engineer program. Furthermore, she has in-depth experience of environmental labeling as responsible for the Ecolabel, “Bra Miljöval”, related to textiles at the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. She has also worked with standardization through involvement in the SIS Technical Committee for Healthcare Textiles as a participant and as chairman.
Over the years, Weronika has participated in various reference groups for textile at the Swedish Chemicals Agency, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the procurement authority etc. She has substantial knowledge of REACH and other legislation as well as research projects in the textile field, and is a member of Expert Team Materials within BioInnovation.
