About the SFA seminar
At the SFA Deep Dive seminar, Anna Brismar presented key principles, challenges and practical approaches for adopting circular sustainability strategies into the daily working routines and long-term planning of designers and buyers. The aim of these circular strategies is to enhance a company’s overall sustainability and circularity performance.
Fundamentally, the lecture was based on circular economy principles as presented by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. However, to make these applicable for designers and buyers, new concepts and guiding principles were developed in preparation for the lecture. Thus, the lecture presented both general guidelines, as well as new key principles and approaches for adopting circular strategies into the design and buying process of apparel and sportswear companies.
